Card Boss is a browser plug-in that integrates smart cards with web sites.
Card Boss works with existing, currently deployed smart card programs regardless of the smart card or web server being used. It provides secure access to the card from the web application, with easy server side setup.
Card Boss acts as the bridge between smart cards and any page on the web server. It supports any PC/SC card reader, GSM, Global Platform, javacard, and Mifare contactless inteface on Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer.
If the card uses proprietary commands, Card Boss can control the card by sending the APDU commands that the card already supports.
